A Woman's Worth Project Services Include
AWWP Dressing Room Program
1. Mental Health Assessment/Counseling
A third party psychologist and access to a physical examination will be available to all depending on the needs of the patient.
2. Life Skills
Our life skills program will educate women on how to manage their time and money effectively. All of our women will know how to effectively communicate with others while maintaining their environment, healthcare, and self-care. The women will be able to manage stress and will be able to create and build a personal relationship.
3. Dressing Room
The Dressing Room program will provide the women with personal hygiene items, and professional attire. The women will also have the opportunity to search for jobs and learn different interview skills.
4. Professional Skills
The professional skills program will teach the women resumé building, mock interview, interpersonal skills, and computer literacy. Vocational training programs will also be provided.
5. Transitional Housing Program
The transitional housing program is set up to bridge women that are transitioning from prison into society with short term housing. Our transitional housing program will guide the women as they find permanent, affordable housing. The Transitional Housing Program is available for 24 months while gaining employment or income public assistance, SSI.
